If the OEM wheels on your C8 Corvette don’t do it for you, Callaway’s nine-spoke forged units arrive to dress up the corners in five finishes.
Callaway. A name synonymous with the Corvette since 1987. Back then, the company gave the C4 a pair of turbos to burn up the road. One of them, dubbed the Sledgehammer Corvette, smashed the record books with a top speed of 254.76 mph in 1988. The company even built a Corvette-themed ski boat, and turned the C7 into a shooting brake.
Of course, Callaway offers more down-to-earth wares to Corvette fans, too. The newest of these are a set of nine-spoke forged wheels in five finishes, all to make your C8 Corvette stand out at the coffee and cars.
“We are pleased to offer a true, fully-forged wheel in a refreshed nine-spoke design to complement the C8’s styling and which is engineered to improve performance by removing over 26 lbs (12 kg) of rotational mass compared to the original equipment,” Callaway says.
The first ingredient in the sauce is forged aluminum. This allows the wheels to be .5 inches wider than OEM, while weighing 23% less than the cast stock units. The result? A set of rims ready to give your C8 Corvette more oomph, wrapped in the same Michelins as OEM.
Five spokes not enough for ya? Callaway added four more “to convey a proper visual and mechanical balance” for your C8 Corvette. And they’re thin, too, for greater ventilation, and easier cleaning at the DIY car wash.

The wheels come in five finishes, including two premium finishes. These include: Ceramic Polished (a premium finish), Satin Black, Gloss Titanium, Matte Bronze, and Black Chrome PVD (a premium finish; not pictured in the catalog at this time). Carbon fiber Callaway center caps and bright chrome or Black Chrome PVD lugs complete the look.
These new wheels from Callaway are a major improvement over stock, especially those who miss chrome wheels.
Of course, there’s a price to pay for such elegance. The non-premium finishes will set you back $6,490. Meanwhile, the two-top tier finishes cost $7,490. However, when it comes to Callaway, it’s worth replacing the OEM units with a more visually appealing set.
The wheels are available right now for pre-order, and are currently in production. Just in time to prepare for the warmer days ahead.
