Featuring vinyl stripes hand-laid by the seller, first-year C7 Corvette in Night Race Blue includes Z06 aero and smoked LEDs.
All of the hype these days goes to the C8 Corvette. But don’t let all that attention overshadow just how good seventh generations Corvettes are at, well, just about everything. And if you happen to be in the market for a clean, low-mileage example, check out this two-owner 2014 C7 Corvette Z51 3LT with just 8,200 miles. The current owner decided to make this Night Race Blue ‘Vette a one-of-one, though, with a big feature upon its body. According to CorvetteForum member, Patfitz9 —
Up for sale is my 2014 Chevy Corvette Z51 3LT in Night Race Blue with Kalahari interior. It is in excellent condition physically and mechanically. The car only has 8,200 miles, and I’m the second owner. The flawless paint has been polished, as well as a full front-end paint protection film (hood, bumper, fenders, and lower side rockers). On top of that, the whole car has a Gtechniq ceramic coating. All the detail work was done this year, so it will shine for many more years. Interior is flawless as well, and the car has just about every option available (3LT trim).
The Corvette also wears a pair of full-length vinyl stripes, which he laid upon the ‘Vette himself by hand. The result reminds us of the C5-era Commemorative Edition from 2004. It, too, featured silver stripes trimmed in red. However, those stopped short of covering the nose and tail of the car entirely.
Managing the 6.2-liter LT1’s 460 horses is a seven-speed Tremec manual, which, in the right setting, means 29 mpg on the highway. The Kalahari interior complements the Night Race Blue beautifully. So, too, do the Z06 aero bits and smoked LED side markers. The LT1 sings through a pair of Corsa Xtreme mufflers, plus an X-pipe.
The seller is currently asking $55,000 for the Corvette, $20,480 off its original $75,480 total sticker price. If this isn’t the ‘Vette for you, though, there are plenty more within our Corvette Forum classifieds.
