Wanna Meet GM’s Corvette Engineers? Plan a Trip to Corvettes at Carlisle 2022

Team Chevrolet

Over 30 members of Team Chevrolet will be on hand to answer any questions you might have about the Corvette Stingray and Z06.

The internet is a great place to look for answers to your Corvette questions. Oftentimes the information you get is invaluable. But that being said do you have 100 percent faith that someone with the screenname ‘korevetteskillz53’ knows how add transmission fluid to your C8? The ideal scenario would be for you to have direct access to the engineers and project specialists that designed and built the car. Unfortunately, that is a rare opportunity. But as luck would have it that rare opportunity will be available next month at Corvettes at Carlisle. Over 30 members of Team Chevrolet will be at the event, and they will be bringing 25 C8’s with them.

Team Chevrolet is known as the minds behind the machines. And many of these great minds will be at the Carlisle Fairgrounds August 25 – 27. The list of attendees is impressive and includes the likes of Tadge Juechter, Executive Chief Engineer and Phil Zak, Executive Design Director. The full list of Team Chevrolet members that will be at Carlisle can be found by clicking here. Unless you visit corporate headquarters (and get past security) this is likely the largest collection of C8 engineers you will ever find in one place. You don’t want to miss this chance.

C8 Z06

Team Chevrolet

Hey, have you heard a C8 Z06 is coming? Of course, you have, and it will be a highlight of this event. As such Team Chevrolet will have TWO displays, including one with the engineers and cars, and another specifically focused on the Z06. There will be stage walk-arounds that will give you the opportunity to see the car firsthand. You will also get a chance to see a walk-around of the regular Stingray and a 70th anniversary edition Corvette. But let’s be honest the Z06 will be THE draw here and who better to speak about it than the folks that developed it?

Corvettes at Carlisle Turns 40

C8

Having Team Chevrolet at Carlisle is a treat and that alone should be worth the trip. But there is a whole lot more to the event. And this year is a bit special as the event has now been held for 40 years. Think about that. When Corvettes at Carlisle first started there were rumors about a hot new generation of Corvette called the C4. My how time files. This year guests can see a 50-year reunion of 1972 Corvettes, the NCRS Gallery, NCCC 7-Sanctions judging, Chip’s Choice featuring Pratt & Miller/Factory Corvette Race Cars, and more.

Q&A

C8 R

Plan your trip now to visit Corvettes at Carlisle and meet the Team Chevrolet folks. What questions do you think you will ask? Maybe Juechter will tell you why there is no manual transmission C8. Or when the Corvette will go all-electric. Or why the Z06 had to be so expensive. The opportunities are endless. All you have to do is get there. What questions do you want to have answered? Let us know in the Corvette Forum forums.
