Fishing for a Corvette?

New Orleans police have reportedly identified the driver who deposited his Corvette in Bayou St. John, then fled, Wednesday Morning but aren’t releasing his name.

Details on how the severely damaged Vette actually ended up in the water are also missing; however, according to an earlier report by NOLA.com one witness saw the driver leaving after the accident.

Apparently, the driver was the only one in the car at the time of the wreck and was not injured. Too bad the beloved Corvette didn’t fare as well, as it has sadly met its demise.
