Watch the World’s First Turbo C7 Corvette Scream at You

Last month we told you about how Lashway Motorsports was developing a turbo kit for the C7 Corvette Stingray that would bump output to 540 rear-wheel horsepower with six pounds of boost. Not too long after we posted that, a video of a running prototype surfaced on YouTube. Check out the footage below to see how wonderfully terrifying a C7 turbo sounds. The turbo’s whistle combined with the LT1’s mean “blat-blat” forms a harmony that rivals some of history’s most noteworthy music.

We’ll be keeping our ears to the ground for more news about this turbo kit’s continued development. In the mean time, hit play to hear a true screamer, but please excuse the camera person who should win an award for worst videography on the Internet … we assure you, the captured sounds make up for the poor camera work.
