Restored 1967 ‘Vette Makes Quite a Statement
As much of a fan as I am of the C7, I have and always will be a sucker for vintage Corvettes. Blame it on a deep love for classic style, which this ’67 Sting Ray brings to life in a way that few other models can match.
A mix of both modern and classic elements, the heavily restored model makes quite a statement about the timeless appeal of the ‘Vette and its potential when it comes to power.
The car, currently being sold on eBay by RK Motors, is equipped with a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine with 815 horsepower.
It also features a Stinger Hood, a custom Street Shop chassis with a suspension system from the C4 Corvette, and Billet Specialties wheels. A lot of that old- and new-school appeal is carried over inside as well with elements like a hand-stitched leather interior, bucket seats from a C6 ‘Vette, and a billet steering wheel.
The current asking price is $159,900 — far out of my range, but it still seems like a hell of a deal for a serious collector.
