Pizza-Vette Apparently a Big Draw in Las Vegas
I guess this is one example of how the initial idea might have sounded a lot cooler than the actual thing looks. Yup, the more I look at this photo, the more certain I become. Because while the idea of a Corvette being converted into a rolling pizza ad might have sounded like a good idea at the time, it just turned out to be a waste of a perfectly good C3, if you ask me.
Then again, maybe I’m the one with the issue here because the Pizza-Vette apparently was a big hit at the 31st Annual Pizza Expo, held March 23-26 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, according to a GM Authority report. So much so that the car, owned by Pizza Man Dan, was one of the most popular photo ops at the event, which drew nearly 10,000 people.
I do, however, find some comfort in knowing that the Pizza-Vette is apparently used more for promotional events than for actually pizza delivery, which means that’s there’s still hope for the C3 buried underneath all that cheese and pepperoni.
