This should put an end to any and all debates over how the C7 Corvette measures up to the Porsche 911. As a matter of fact, I’m inclined to post it on just about every import car blog I can find, considering this news is well worth the criticism I’ll get for trolling those sites.
Among all mid-size sports cars, the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette ranked number one in J.D. Power’s APEAL study as the most satisfying vehicle in its category, beating out the Porsche 911 which won the segment last year, according to a CNN Money report.
This is the first time in 10 years that Corvette has earned the top spot in the category.
The study, often referred to as “things gone right,” looks at what consumers like about their new vehicles after 90 days of ownership.
The things that pushed the Corvette over the top in the survey included fuel economy, acceleration, trunk space, and, ironically enough, the audio system quality, contrary to some opinions expressed at Corvette Forum, which we covered here.
