2,400 Horsepower Corvette, Enough Said

All I can say is, “SWEET BABY JESUS!”

What you are looking at is a C6 Corvette with… wait for it… 2,400 horsepower!

For comparison, the McLaren P1, a true hybrid hypercar, only has 903hp. The Bugatti Veyron? 1,149. This Corvette has double that, and that’s all because of its twin 88 mm turbos, and an additional 400 shot of nitrous. Because, twin 88 mm turbos is just too sissy for this car.

As you’ll see in the video below, the problem with this car right now is traction, and that isn’t for a lack of trying. The Corvette has massive drag tires out back, desperately trying to hook up on the tarmac. However, at this year’s Texas Invitationals, the crew that built this monster did not have enough luck to break 200 miles per hour. They did however, produce one hell of a show.

The fact that this car has both turbochargers sticking out of the hood, shooting flames, brings a warmth to my heart, and most likely a warmth through the windshield too. Take a look.
