Do you spend way too much time thinking about your Corvette? Well, maybe it’s time you started keeping track of all that time with a Corvette watch?
But not any old Corvette watch will do; nothing but the best for you. So might I recommend the BRM Corvette C7.R 24H Chronograph?
Mind you, though, it’s not cheap. And if you thought the 2016 Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition was overkill, then this may not be for you.
The $10,750 watch was designed in partnership with Corvette Racing to reflect the team’s C7.R track cars (which inspired the C7.R Edition). So right there you know you’ll at least be able to tell time faster for that price.
According to Corvette Racing, the watch features “custom-painted hands and dials in classic C7.R yellow; custom-stitched leather bands that mirror racing seatbelts; engraved stems bearing the brand’s unofficial mascot, ‘Jake;’” and much, much more.
Perhaps the coolest feature though is the 24-hour dial, something you don’t see very often. It was included to pay homage to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The watch is actually part of a C7.R line that BRM unveiled at last year’s endurance race.
While the watch is certainly pricey, it’s not the priciest automotive-inspired watch in the Esquire feature where we found this; that honor goes to the Halda Race Pilot, which will run you nearly $20k. So in that regard, the C7.R Chronograph is kind of a bargain, right?
