Ever Wanted to Convert Your RX-7 Into a C3 Corvette? Try the Corvetty!

I have to admit, I’ve never even heard of the “Corvetty.” Although, in theory, it certainly seems plausible, considering the impact the Chevrolet Corvette has had around the world.

However, the term being used to describe a kit to convert a Mazda RX-7 to look like a C3 Corvette is way beyond odd. But apparently, it was actually a real thing that you could buy at one point in Japan, as highlighted in a Road & Track report.

Now, one of these insanely, bizarre kits has resurfaced in an Orange County Craigslist posting as a sales item. The listing notes that this is probably the only one of its kind at this point. The posting also states that the price is a steal for only $300, given that the kit originally sold for $4,000.

So, I guess it’s true: imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, even if it comes off as being a little weird.
