Corvette Z06 Carbon Fiber Intake Ducts Aim to Keep Things Cool

Looking to add a nice, subtle, unique touch to your C7? Then, you might find this bit of news coming out of Nowicki Autosport interesting.

The company has created a carbon fiber version of the rear-quarter intake ducts on the Z06, which supposedly allows 50% more air to pass through the Corvette, according to a GM Authority report.

That should help cool things off a bit, especially after a few laps on the track.

Even better, the carbon fiber units meet the composite specs for genuine General Motors parts, which eases those worries that come with swapping out OEM parts for custom mods.

The Nowicki Autosport carbon intake ducts retail for $695 for both the left and right pieces. But considering what you get for the investment, the price really isn’t bad. After all, there’s always some relative costs involved with pushing to be unique.
