We Render the New Mid-Engine Corvette Zora!

We’ve spent a lot of time recently discussing the possibility of a mid-engine Corvette, possibly badged as Zora, coming with the next-generation car. Since we have no official imagines from General Motors about what the car will look like (or even if it exists), we thought we’d take a stab at what we think the new car will look like.

Credit for this render goes to our friend Joshua Bowles, and gives us a radical representation of the new car. There are still Corvette bits in it, including the intake on the frunk, the rear taillight design, and B-pillar. The headlights are stretched versions of the one on the current Corvette.

The mid-engine Zora will sit nice and wide, giving our rendering’s driver’s canopy a very McLaren P1 flavor. Of course there’s a stretched rear-end to fit the engine nice and cozy behind the driver.

Is it what the final product will look like? Who knows? GM hasn’t shown us anything to give us an idea, but we do expect to see a lot of current-generation Corvette design cues in the new car. This render has all of that plus a bold look to match the amazing performance we expect out of the car.

Join the discussion with the other mid-engine Corvette fans over in our forums!
