LMR-Tuned Corvette Z06 Hits the Dyno

Late Model Racecraft adds 150 horsepower to the supercharged Corvette for $13,000.

The video above comes to us from the Late Model Racecraft YouTube channel and it features a C7 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 with the LMR800 package stretching its legs on the dyno. LMR is well-known for their high performance tuning packages and in this case, we get to listen to an LT4 built by the Texas shop as it makes somewhere in the area of 700 horsepower at the rear wheels.

LMR800 Package in Action

The C7 Corvette Z06 is powered by the modern LT4 V8, which makes 650 horsepower in stock form. Late Model Racecraft’s LMR800 package increases that output from 650 to 800 and it does so by adding a long list of pretty basic modifications. Key components of the package include long-tube headers, a new lower pulley, an upgraded camshaft and a custom tune, but a great many items go into the build. We have included a list of components below.

LMR800 Z06 on the Dyno

In the video above, we get to watch as this white Corvette Z06 with the LMR800 package works out on the dyno. We see the run from a wide angle side view, a close-up engine bay view and a view from the rear of the car, each of which lets us hear the supercharged Chevy from the different angles.

LMR800 Corvette on the Dyno

Unfortunately, this video doesn’t present any dyno numbers, but in looking around online, it looks as though the LMR800 package for the C7 Corvette Z06 tends to deliver around 700-710 horsepower and around 720-730 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels.

Crank up your speakers and enjoy!
