1967 Corvette

1967 Corvette 427/435 hp example is so nice you’ll be surprised to learn where we found it.

Usually, the stuff you come across on Craigslist is not exactly concours quality. But that’s to be expected, right? After all, who in their right mind would try and sell a crazy nice car in the same place that you can, um, rent a “friend” for the night? Well, surprisingly, a few people do just that. But still, rarely do you see a car on Craigslist packing as much goodness as this gorgeous 1967 Corvette.

Yes, this is a stunning example of a C2 Corvette in its own right. But it also has pretty much everything collectors look for in a 1967 Corvette. That means the 427 cubic-inch big block V8, topped with three carbs and producing 435 hp. It also has a 4-speed manual transmission, power brakes, side pipes, the original hard top, and AM/FM radio.

The power steering is an upgrade. And the car has been repainted and fitted with new wheels and tires. But otherwise, this Corvette is numbers matching and original. Throw in the fact that it’s red and black, which is also the original color combo, and you can’t get much more collector friendly than this.

Prices for cars like this have skyrocketed in recent years, and the asking price here is just north of $100k. Which, to us anyway, seems like a tad much for old Craigslist. We’d imagine the seller would have more luck advertising elsewhere. Like, say, a Corvette focused marketplace. But hey, to each their own, we suppose.

We’re just glad we found this beauty of a 1967 Corvette. We see so many beaten up barn finds on a daily basis that sometimes, it’s nice to come across a beauty that also just so happens to have all the right stuff!
