By now you have seen many videos featuring the new Corvette ZR1, but not many feature the car getting put through its paces on a race track.

Stocked with walkarounds, flybys, and even in car footage from the ZR1’s Performance Data Recorder the video gives you an idea that the Corvette ZR1 is all business. According to the Performance Data Recorder data overlays, the over 600 horsepower LS9 powered ZR1 was driven in the “Track” drive mode setting and the Performance Traction Management set to “Sport 1”.

This writer was fortunate to visit the Bosch Proving Grounds earlier this year and got seat time in a Corvett Z06 with the engineers who developed the revolutionary traction management system which no doubt got some tweaks before getting fitted to the ZR1 beast.
