C7 Corvette Z06 is Dropped, Loaded and Ready to Roar

While we would all like to have a 755-horsepower Corvette ZR1, the price puts them out of reach for many people. Fortunately, the 650-horsepower Z06 is a fine compromise and with the ZR1 arriving, there are plenty of Z06 models hitting the used car market. While scrolling through the C7 Corvettes For Sale section, we came across this clean, loaded and lightly modified C6 Z06 that was posted for sale by “bkylin“. With common upgrades that most buyers will enjoy, this is the perfect option for someone who wants a supercharged ‘Vette with a custom look and the proper roar of a blown V8.

The Introduction

When the OP first posted his 2015 Corvette Z06 for sale, he included a handful of pictures and a quick rundown of the key features and all of the aftermarket upgrades.

So, this C7 Corvette is basically loaded, shy of the automatic transmission, but it has the top-of-the-line 3LZ goodies along with the high performance bits of the Z07 package with the most extreme aero features. Buying a similarly-equipped car new today will cost you well over $100,000, but this Z06 is listed for just $70,000 and best of all, it comes with plenty of popular aftermarket upgrades.

Aesthetic Modifications

Based on the mod list, it is clear that the seller of this C7 Z06 wanted to keep it looking great for a long time. The clear wrap on the front end will prevent stone chips and the ceramic coating makes the car easier to clean along with keeping it shining bright without regular waxing. Also, the scrape guard protects the front fascia, should you get too close to those annoying parking blocks.

Next, the seller had the roof panel wrapped to match the black insert on the hood and the wheels, with some dark-tinted windows complete the murdered-outlook.

Finally, a set of LED side markers gives the car a bit more modern profile, but in the long run, it is hard to argue with any of this aftermarket work, as these are things that many people do to their beloved vehicles – Corvettes or otherwise.

Performance Upgrades

In addition to the long list of factory-issued performance parts, the seller has added some items to this Z06 to improve the overall capabilities of the machine. The drop spindles give it a more menacing stance while improving handling, while the exhaust upgrades and throttle body add power and sound. If you want an LT4 car that is loud, a little low and ready to blast down any road or track, this car might be your next dream machine.
