Blown C6 Corvette with the Z06 Look Could Be Yours

Chevrolet Corvette has a supercharged LS2, custom wheels and an authentic Z06 body and it needs a new home.

The C6 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is an incredible machine, packing a massive 7.0-liter naturally aspirated LS7 engine, a unique body package with flared carbon fiber fenders, magnetic suspension and massive brakes. The “problem” with the C6 Z06 is that they were relatively limited in their production volume, so finding one in good shape that is available for sale is not always easy. Plus, with 505 horsepower, the LS7 might seem a little light on power compared to modern models, so anyone looking for a C6 Z06 may want to add some power.

If you are one of the people who would love to rock a C6 Corvette Z06 with big power, this car from Corvette Forum‘s  C6 Corvettes For Sale section might be perfect. This base C6 was posted for sale by “OneFierceSon”, but it has the Z06 body, suspension, brakes and interior bits, along with a Vortech supercharger mounted to the LS2, likely packing way more than 505 horsepower.

If you were to just look at the pictures of this car, you would likely believe that it is a C6 Z06, but it is actually a base Corvette with many of the key components of the Z06 package. The OP explained the build in the sale post.

Car has the complete factory Z06 kit installed by Chevrolet dealer from day one. Original wide body carbon fiber fenders, bumpers, suspension, brakes, seats, emblems, etc which retains the targa top.

It has been a Sunday drive car for me, never driven in rain/snow and I’ve never tracked it. Odometer just ticked to 100k miles.

The seller doesn’t list any power numbers, but considering the mod list on the LS2 engine that offers 400 horsepower in stock form, this supercharged V8 surely makes well over the 505 horsepower of the Z06. If you want a C6 Corvette that looks and handles like a Z06, but with more power from a blown LS2, this might be your dream car. At $26,000, it is slightly more expensive than a used 2006 Z06 and it is quite a bit more than an average base C6, but when you look at the mod list, including all of the Z06 factory parts, it isn’t a bad price.
