‘Williams Bowl’ sees Jaguars’ Quincy Williams put his new 2019 Z06 on the line against his brother, Jets’ Quinnen Williams.

Football rivalries are nothing new, from the Friday night lights of high school, through the sunny Saturday afternoons at your nearest college, and into the Sunday afternoon clashes within the National Football League. The NFL has plenty of rivalries to go around, from the intra-state battle between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns, to the brutality between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens.

Sometimes, though, the rivalries are more down to earth. Sunday, October 27, will be one such occasion, as the Associated Press reports the Jacksonville Jaguars will host the New York Jets at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Florida. Thereupon the gridiron, two brothers will not only seek to bring home the win for their respective teams, but a 2019 Corvette Z06 for themselves.

Quincy Williams

According to SB Nation’s Big Cat Country blog, Jaguars rookie linebacker Quincy Williams answered a question from the AP about a bet between himself and his brother, Jets rookie defensive lineman Quinnen Williams, involving the former’s new Z06.

“We’ve got a good bet going right now,” Quincy said. “That’s all I’m going to say about that. He wants that Z06.”

The “Williams Bowl,” as it’s been called, will be a big family affair, with 60 members heading over to Jacksonville from the brothers’ native Birmingham, Alabama. It will also be the first game where Quincy and Quinnen will line-up on opposite sides of the gridiron.

Speaking of family, the brothers were introduced to classic cars by their grandfather when they were kids, per the AP, with their love for high-performance machines growing all the way through the years.

Once they signed their respective NFL contracts, Quinnen got himself a Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye, and Quincy got his prized Z06. Both brothers plan to visit Atlanta at the end of the postseason for a few rounds on the quarter-mile, assuming Quincy still has his ‘Vette after Sunday. If he does, though, he’ll have no problem beating the Hellcat.

“Ain’t nothing beating that,” Quincy said. “If anybody wants to line it up, they know where I’m at.”
