A C7 with some race-inspired visual upgrades and big power gets a fresh set of Forgeline wheels.

One of our members, 00C7 from Port Saint Lucie, Florida, recently bought new wheels for his C7 Corvette coupe. He posted some excellent photos of his car, showing off various other race-inspired modifications.

The new wheels are Forgeline VX1s in a satin black finish. They look great with the Watkins Glen Gray Metallic paint and the various carbon fiber accessories fitted to this 2017 Corvette.

00C7 ordered these wheels as a staggered setup, with a wide 19×10 “up front and a truly massive 20×12” size out back. Combined with the lowered stance and the aero mods, this Corvette looks race-ready.

The narrow split-spoke design also does a great job of showing off this Corvette’s brakes. The red calipers are a great accent to the grey, carbon, and black theme. The endplates on the C7.R-style wing are also red.

It’s like every visual modification for this car was carefully chosen to work together. Overall, this grey Corvette resembles a C7.R for the street. The custom “007C7” badges are a great custom exterior touch on this Corvette.

Under the Hood

Besides the carbon fiber accents and the racing wing, you’ll find other race-inspired visual upgrades. A tow hook pokes out of the front bumper. Inside, you’ll find a roll cage, painted red like the calipers and wing endplates.

This isn’t just a sheep in wolf’s clothing, though. This fast-looking Corvette packs serious horsepower under the vented carbon fiber hood.

Performance modifications consist of a supercharger, ported heads, headers, and a straight piped exhaust. It looks and sounds fast, because it is.

None of us need an excuse to own a car like this—we do it because we love it. However, 00C7 has a great excuse. He runs C7 Performance Shop, and the beautiful wheels you see before you were purchased at Custom Wheels 4 Less.

One of those products is the carbon fiber steering wheel found inside his personal car. Like everything else on the car, it accentuates other modifications and ties the whole look together.
