And the Great CorvetteForum Show & Shine Winners Are…
The Great CorvetteForum Show & Shine proves one thing: CorvetteForum members own a ton of beautiful cars.
The Great CorvetteForum Show & Shine, sponsored by Avalon King, was a huge success (and a lot of fun). But picking only three winners was nearly impossible. Over two hundred entries. Over 16,000 thread views. And far too many of you own stunningly beautiful Corvettes covering every generation. From frame-off restored classics to menacing murdered-out modern cars, we also learned that CorvetteForum members love to shine and show off their cars.
We wish we had more prizes to give out because, quite honestly, there are dozens of beautiful rides in the contest thread. We can’t thank you enough for sharing them with us and your fellow members.
But choose we must. So, after narrowing down a list of finalists based on how many likes each car received during the Show & Shine, we attempted to pick three cars with interesting stories, dedicated owners, and cars that represent the true passion of what it means to be a Corvette owner.

Runner Up Winner: cor66vette
Please help us congratulate our first Runner Up Winner, cor66vette, aka Carl. Car’s custom red 1966 Corvette Convertible is an L-79 clone and most recently received a frame-off restoration in 2016. This car was also a C2 of Year Finalist (stock) last year. Carl, you’ve won two Armor Shield IX DIY Kits, courtesy of Avalon King.
Runner Up Winner: RobRace10
Last, but certainly not least, let’s all congratulate Robert — aka RobRace10 — who spent five years restoring this black 1969 Corvette Convertible with a 427 engine and four-speed transmission. Even more incredible, Robert did the work himself in a two-car garage! Congrats, Robert, you’ve also won two Armor Shield IX DIY Kits courtesy of Avalon King.
