Chevy has produced Corvettes that blur the lines perfectly between race cars and production cars. These special ‘Vettes boast a number of attributes, performance upgrades, and design features that not only make them unique; they are utterly unbeatable.

From special editions to track packages, we chose five special Corvettes that were built with pure racing pumping in their DNA. We did not include the 2020 C8 Corvette, because as amazing as it is, we wanted to focus on some ‘Vettes also deserving much recognition.

When it comes to pumping out pure G-Force, nothing can touch the C7 ZR1. When it rolled off the production line, the King of the ‘Vettes already held the distinction of being GM’s fastest production car. The C7 ZR1 was a supercar that could truly perform on the road or the track.

C7 ZR1

With its hand-assembled, carbon fiber covered 6.2L LT5 supercharged small block V8 engine; its specs are staggering. It produces an earth quaking 755 horsepower and 715 lb-ft of torque. No need for aftermarket upgrades, this track monster goes 0 to 60 in a blink of just 2.8 seconds. It also hits a top speed of 212 mph.
