Calling the Corvettes at Carlisle a car show is like saying the Carolina reaper is a bit tangy. This is theCorvette show, the top dog. Thousands of enthusiasts bring their pride and joy to share with everyone. Every corner of the Corvette universe is represented. From the iconic split window to the most powerful ZR1. Cars that have been restored, raced, garage queens, survivors, you name it, and you will see it at this show. Some are driven, some arrive in a trailer, but they are all here. How can you possibly pick a favorite?
Well, that’s our problem. There is no way the editorial team could pick a single favorite, and even narrowing down to a top ten is not an easy task. Honestly, just about every Corvette we saw could have made this list. But we had to choose, so here are our top ten picks. (By the way, if you were there, please share your own favorites HERE in the forums.)
1954 Little Red Corvette
Let’s start at the beginning. This lovely 1954 Corvette made it from neighboring Ohio. It looks stunning in Sportsman Red and red interior. It may not win many drag races with the original Blue Flame straight-6 engine, but this sure is a beautiful car to look at. Speed does not matter when you have grace and style like this. The Corvette love affair begins.
