Corvettes at LS Fest XI

Among the various LS- and LT-powered rides at Holley LS Fest XI, plenty of Corvettes stood out in the crowd. Here are our five faves!

LS Fest is, at its heart, a celebration of the LS V8. Since 1997, the small-block V8’s been a part of many a GM product, including the Corvette. The LS1 debuted with the C5-era Corvette in 1997, starting off with 345 horses before gaining five more ponies in 2001.

Since then, the Corvette’s been about LS and LT V8s. Thus, it’s the perfect showcase at the 11th edition of LS Fest, held September 11 through 13 at Beech Bend Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Here are five such showcases which caught our eye during the weekend.

Complete Street Performance Twin-Turbo C8

The C8 Corvette’s been available for a few months now, and already we’re seeing builds like this orange twin-turbo from Pennsylvania’s Complete Street Performance. The ‘Vette originally scored 10-second runs before the insane upgrade. With over 600 horsepower and just as much in torque, though, perhaps 9- to mid-8-second runs are possible.
