Here Are the Constraints for the Latest 2024 Corvette Order Cycle

This time around, only the 2024 Corvette Stingray is facing constraints, though it will soon give way to the 2024 model year.

We’re on the cusp of entering the sixth model year for the C8 Corvette, which is truly hard to believe. It seems like only yesterday when the latest version of the iconic sports car was being revealed, and yet, here we are, years later – and still facing a handful of supply constraints, it seems. While 2024 Corvette production has ramped up significantly – setting records in the process – those looking to order one will still find that select options are difficult to obtain. Now that the latest 2024 Corvette order window has opened, Corvette Blogger has secured a list of the model’s latest constraints, too.

There is some good news that comes from this list, at least – all of this cycle’s constraints apply solely to the base Stingray, and not the Z06 or E-Ray. Regardless, those looking to order a 2024 Corvette Stingray will have a hard time obtaining a select number of constrained options for that model, a list that includes the Q9I wheel (though there are a handful available), as well as the 1LT package, which is reportedly landing on dealer lots as in-stock inventory.

As far as the Z51 high-performance package and the mix dealers can order compared to non-Z51 cars, that percentage hasn’t yet been revealed yet, but it will still be controlled by GM, regardless. At the moment, it’s unclear how many units of each dealers can order, however. It’s also worth noting that one frequently constrained option – the 5ZU painted high wing – isn’t listed this time around, so customers shouldn’t have any trouble procuring it in this order cycle.

As for when we can expect the 2024 Corvette to give way to the 2025 model at Bowling Green, a previous report indicated that 2024 model year production was slated to end on July 12, after which 2025 production would take over on July 15. However, it now seems likely that 2024 Corvette production will extend into August – though with the final day to order specific set-to-be-deleted exterior colors set for the 8th of that month, it’s possible that this actual changeover may not happen until September.
