The world’s first supercharged Corvette E-Ray makes seriously impressive power from a package that’s available to purchase now.

The Corvette E-Ray is a history-making machine for a few very good reasons – it’s both the first hybrid Corvette ever made, as well as the first all-wheel-drive version of the iconic sports car, too. Now that E-Ray deliveries have begun, we’ve seen the fruits of these new features in real-time, and by that, we mean the mind-boggling performance this electrified model is capable of. Of course, it was only a matter of time before the aftermarket began churning out performance upgrades for this straight-line monster as well, and that’s precisely what we’re getting in the form of the world’s first supercharged Corvette E-Ray from a familiar place – Lingenfelter.

In stock form, the E-Ray’s 6.2-liter LT2 V8 is complemented by an electric motor that helps it churn out an impressive 655 horsepower and 595 pound-feet of torque at the crank, which GM says is good for a 0-60 run of 2.5 seconds – though we’ve already seen at least one do that deed in 2.1 seconds, with rollout factored in. However, Lingenfelter’s supercharged Corvette E-Ray has received a bit of a boost in more ways than one.

That boost comes from Lingenfelter’s brand new Corvette E-Ray supercharger package, which works with both coupe and convertible models. The kit includes, of course, a supercharger – in this case, a Magnuson TVS2650 unit – but there’s far more to the package than just a blower. It also includes an ECT intercooler and heat exchanger, a Mahle high-performance drop-in piston package, Lingenfelter’s valve train upgrade kit, a CHE trunnion kit, 95mm throttle body, and a custom ECM calibration, to boot.

The results of those goodies is rather impressive, as this supercharged Corvette E-Ray put down 734 horsepower and 793 pound-feet of torque on the dyno, which should result in some truly exhilarating performance, to say the least. Unfortunately, Lingenfelter hasn’t tested out their package at the track yet, but we imagine that it’s only a matter of time before someone does.

While we patiently wait for that to happen, the new Lingenfelter Corvette E-Ray supercharger package retails for $35,000 with installation, though customers can also add a variety of updates to suit their taste as well. Those include a Halltech Hornet cold-air intake, Corsa headers (for coupes only at the moment), and a pair of Corsa exhaust systems – both valved cat-back units, but one with a muffler delete for maximum volume. The new E-Ray supercharger kit is available to purchase now, but unfortunately for folks in California, it can’t be sold there yet as it’s awaiting CARB approval.
