This Memorial Day weekend, CorvetteForum helped sponsor the Corvette
Forum Cruise-In at the National Corvette Museum. The annual event gives
the online community a chance to meet face-to-face and share their common love of the great American sports car.
This year provided a new and very special wrinkle. The American
Warrior Recognition Day was added to the weekend’s event line-up, in an effort
to thank some wounded Veterans for their service and sacrifice.

Volunteers caravanned from the National Corvette Museum to either Fort Campbell or Fort Knox to pick up a Wounded Warrior and give him or her a stylish ride to the Corvette Museum, with a full police escort, no less!
Once the veterans arrived at the museum, they were given a tour of the Museum and the Bowling Green Assembly Plant. The veterans were treated to a luncheon as well.
