Driver in Serious Condition after C6 Corvette Wreck in Missouri

Let’s hope that the driver of this C6 Corvette makes a full recovery after a serious accident Monday morning in Missouri. Police are still investigating why the 63-year-old driver, of Oran, Mo., rammed into the back of a tractor-trailer at a traffic light on South Kingshighway near the Southern Expressway in Cape Girardeau, Mo., a police spokesman said.

After being extricated from the vehicle by members of the Cape Girardeau Fire Department, the Corvette driver was treated for serious injuries at a local hospital. The truck driver escaped with minor injuries.

Police did not release the names of the accident victims, but did say the truck driver was from Tamms, Ill.
