If you’re in the market for a toy that’s not a Corvette then have we got a boat for you! This 48 foot monster assembled by Marine Technology, Inc. is currently up for sale. The all-black vessel has ZR1 design cues throughout including the dash, steering wheel, and even a shifter. Outside there are ZR1 style front fender vents, tail lights, and headlights. Oh, and don’t forget the 2 Mercury 1,350hp twin turbo racing motors that provide motivation. Yep, that’s a total of 2,700hp or 4.2 real ZR1′s.
Billed as the ?ZR48″, this is easily the wildest Corvette-themed boat we’ve ever seen. The ultra leather and suede cockpit has a full C6 dash with functional gauges, A/C, six air conditioned seats, and a scad of LED lights. Driver and Throttleman seats are power and feature adjustable foot rests.
Every good day on the water needs some good tunes and the ZR48 delivers the beats via a custom 8000 watt stereo system that lifts from the deck. Also for your entertainment is Apple TV, an iPad dock, and Wi-Fi.
As we mentioned earlier there’s 2,700 horsepower on tap to get you to your destination. Both twin-turbo mills are topped off with custom ZR1 engine covers. Speaking of destinations, how does one transport the ZR48 when not it the water? Well you’re in luck because the sale also includes the matching ZR48 trailer equipped with air ride suspension. Other trailer goodies include a generator, water tank, power washer, 5 TV’s, a DVD player, stainless steel floor, and over 900 LED’s. There’s no mention of a tractor to go with that trailer so we assume that you’ll have to provide a puller.
Asking price for this masterpiece is just $1,700,000. Steep? Yes absolutely, but when you add up all the custom work, carbon fiber, and trailer that price seems pretty fair. Also factor in that the guy next to you won’t have one like it when you dock in South Beach. We just wish it was supercharged like the ZR1 rather than turbo charged.
