VIDEO: Driver Nearly Crashes C7 Trying to Beat M3 Off the Line

Whenever I get the feeling that I might spend too much time here talking about the need to respect the power of a Corvette, I stumble upon another video that makes me think — well, maybe not.

This latest one, posted by Sloan MacK on YouTube, shows a C7 revving at a light, gearing up to race a BMW M3. Which is quite the display of peacocking until the driver almost loses control of the ‘Vette after doing a burn-out though a busy intersection.

Here’s hoping there was one of those red light cameras in the area, which might help this driver practice a little more self-control next time. If not, his antics could wind up getting him in a serous crash or even worse getting someone else hurt.
