“Roadkill” Tackles a ’75 Stingray in Need of Work

So what happens when the guys from Motor Trend’s Roadkillshow get their hands on a 1975 Corvette Stingray in need of a lot of work?

Well, one pretty crazy adventure.

Call me a nut, but I love watching what happens whenever David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan take on some wild restoration project that practically nobody else in world would try to tackle. However, the latest episode of them patching up a Stingray for a road trip to visit the National Corvette Museum with a few essentials like an alligator head and a bald eagle to keep guard from the rear is one of my favorites.

Oh, and how can I forget, there’s also the car’s custom Wrangler seats, a police threat for driving the ‘Vette with no windshield, and an inaccurate fuel gauge, which all add to the journey.

Not to mention their failed attempt to convince museum officials to let them leave the car in the sinkhole as part of a time capsule.

It’s definitely an entertaining watch with a few interesting tidbits on Corvette history as well.
