OPTIMA Presents Corvette of the Week: Tom’s Toy

Can you believe this gleaming C6 Corvette is seven years old? It looks like it just rumbled off the showroom floor. While this may not be a brand-new car, it is new to Tom Wilhelm, a new member on Corvette Forum who goes by “twilhelm39“.

Tom, allow me to prepare you for something you’re going to hear often: “That’s a 2007? Are you kidding? That thing looks brand-new.”

I get it all the time with my car, which is also black; a more difficult color to keep looking new.

Oh, but then there’s your engine bay. This would be the perfect spot to insert one of those clapping hands emoticons because this is a level of cleanliness that deserves a round of applause. Not only could I eat off this LS2, I actually want to eat off this LS2. When I’m 120 years old, I want to have open-heart surgery on this LS2.
