MotorWeek Track Tests the 2014 C7 Corvette Stingray

This past summer when the C7 Corvette was let loose on the automotive media, MotorWeek got its first drive in the new Stingray; however, like 99.9 percent of reviewers, they wanted more, so Chevrolet recently handed MotorWeek the keys to the C7 for some more in-depth testing — i.e. track testing.

Check out the video below to find out how much fun public television’s automotive magazine had while whipping the Corvette around the tight 22-turn, 2.2-mile Shenandoah Circuit at Summit Point Motorsports Park in West Virginia.

My personal favorite is the bottom video that compares the 40th Anniversary C4 Corvette with the some of the world’s best sports cars of the nineties. I realize it has a lot to do with my being eight years old when all those cars were new, but the mid-90s is my favorite era of sports car manufacturing, and that video features some of my all-time favorite cars … including the C4 Corvette.
