Meet the Royal Purple C7

There’s nothing quite as royal as a purple C7 – especially one bearing a Lingenfelter Performance badge.

After all, we are talking about the award-winning new Corvette liveried in a color associated with royalty, and one of the most respected companies in the world when comes to high-performance Corvettes.

This custom Stingray, inspired by the Royal Purple-sponsored Indy Townsend Bell-KV Racing car, was designed as part of the recent announcement that Royal Purple will now be the official lubricant of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering (LPE).

Under the new partnership, Royal Purple will be the exclusive provider of all synthetic oils, lubricants and additives used in all custom Lingenfelter street vehicles and special customer builds.  The company will also serve as the official lubricant for the Lingenfelter race team for road and drag racing campaigns.

“The Royal Purple premium quality brand meshes perfectly with our company’s dedication to the highest levels of performance,” said Ken Lingenfelter, CEO/owner, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, in an official statement.

There are no details on what specific performance enhancements are hiding under that purple livery, but knowing the Lingenfelter team, you can pretty much count on there being some.
