Last chance to see the sinkhole before construction begins
If you’ve been dying to see the sinkhole that swallowed up the Corvettes at the National Corvette Museum, you’d better hop on over there because this is your last chance to have a look. Well, it’s sort of your last chance because it seems that after thinking the thing would be closed off to the public for repairs, we’ve gotten wind that visitors will be able to watch the progress of the construction process through a plexiglas window, according to a GM Authority report.
In case that doesn’t satisfy your craving for all things Corvette-sinkhole-related, the National Corvette Museum is also doing a temporary exhibit where visitors can experience the disaster through photos and videos.
I guess you can say the sinkhole is the gift that keeps on giving despite its being a catastrophe that a lot of us would like to forget.
