So, exactly how much rear wheel power is the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 really packing? Well, below are Hennessey Performance Engineering’s take on the numbers.
The company recently shared its baseline Dynojet numbers for the new American supercar with the results showing 570 rear wheel horsepower through the factory 7-speed manual transmission.
Don’t you just love hearing this thing rev? Honestly, I never get tired of listening to that LT4 supercharged V8 crank out all that power. If you ask me, videos like this are time well spent, although I’d rather be spending it behind the wheel of a new Z06.
That said, I’m also growing more anxious to hear about the dyno numbers for the HPE750, HPE800, and HPE1000 C7s we’ve been hearing so much about, especially given some of the numbers they’ve gotten out of the base C7. The company says they’ll be getting those results to us soon.
