eBay Racer Could be a Keeper

Here’s a hell of an eBay find for anyone who’s ever dreamed of owning their own Corvette thoroughbred – a 2007 Z06 all decked out in full track gear.

The car, up for sale on eBay for $92,000, has already been inspected by SCCA and NASA, and is eligible to race in either league.

Originally built by Doug Rippie, the race-ready ‘Vette has already earned its stripes with a run in SCCA’s Pro Series World Challenge division while also pulling a few wins at other racing venues, according to the eBay rundown.

The car’s LS7 motor produces 530 rear-wheel horsepower and 520 foot-pounds of torque with fewer than 15,000 miles on the odometer.

It’s also equipped with Pratt and Miller suspension parts, Brembo racing brakes and four-way Motons, not to mention that rear wing mounted on the back that says, “Yup, I’m the real deal,” just in case those racing numbers on the door weren’t a dead giveaway.
