Corvette Z06 Crash is Grim Reminder that Speed Kills

Unfortunately, when it comes to high-performance cars like the new Corvette Z06, there always seems to be some bitter news that follows shortly after the cars hit the street.

It’s one of those dreadful things that come with fast cars, and this picture is a grim reminder of what can happen when you don’t respect the power of a high-performance vehicle.

The photo, posted in a Corvette Forum thread here, shows the remains of a new Z06 following an accident in Little Rock, AR., which killed the driver and injured the passenger.

Police say the Z06 was going at a high rate of speed when it struck a tree, ejecting the driver from the car.

Let this be a reminder to us all that speeding can be extremely dangerous in any automobile, but especially in one as powerful and fast as the Z06. Remember to always respect the power of your Corvette and, more importantly, the safety of other drivers on the road.
