Corvette Hits the Autobahn Running at 186 mph

How fast is the C7 Corvette? Good question. Some say it’s as fast as laws will permit, and that could apply to statutory laws, the laws of aerodynamics, or GM law in the form of the 190-mph speed limiter.

We’ve seen the Corvette sneak all the way up to 193 after its 190-mph governor kicked in on the dyno. Now, thanks to a video from Chevrolet Europe, we get to see the 2014 Corvette Stingray do 186 mph (300 km/h) in the wild.
