Evidently, the team at Chevy has no plans on slowing the momentum it’s been gaining with the C7.

Then again, why should they?

Less than a couple of weeks after debuting that hot new convertible Z06 everyone has been raving over, the carmaker announces that it will also be offering two more limited design packages.

The new editions include a model called the “Atlantic” and another called the “Pacific,” both aimed at catering to Corvette buyers who might want a few more custom features straight from the factory.

The Atlantic design package is targeted at consumers looking for more luxury appeal in the C7. Some of the unique features include a front Z06-style splitter, shark gray exterior vents, hood “stinger” graphic, tonneau inserts and chrome wheels with Stingray center caps.

The Atlantic design package also comes with custom luggage.

In contrast, the beauty above, the Pacific coupe, is more track focused. Available in Torch Red, Black, Arctic White, Blade Silver or Shark Gray, it features satin black full-length racing stripes, black Z51 wheels with red stripes and red brake calipers. Inside, the Pacific Package includes competition sport seats in red or black and carbon fiber interior trim.

Introduced last fall at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, both limited-edition models will go on sale later this year.

“One of the design goals for the Corvette Stingray was to provide customers with the flexibility to tailor the car to their personality,” said Kirk Bennion, Corvette exterior design manager, in a prepared statement. “The Atlantic and Pacific Design Packages were originally designed to showcase how the Stingray could be configured as a luxury sport GT car or as a high-performance motorsport car.”

Even better, there’s more to come.

“We plan to make news with the Corvette Stingray every year, in part by offering special-edition models that offer a unique, personal ownership experience,” said Todd Christensen, Corvette marketing manager. “Our customers have told us they appreciate these limited-edition models, which have become an important part of the Corvette’s legacy.”
