C7 Stingray Assembly Line Video

Want to see how your C7 Corvette Stingray gets assembled? Look no further. While the video doesn’t divulge too much information, it’s cool to see the body assembled and the sub-assemblies mated to the Stingray. Especially interesting is seeing the powertrain mated to the chassis in one piece from engine to rear axles relatively late in the process. Once the cars are built they head onto a low-speed dyno.

Particularly surprising is that the a-pillar, dashboard support and dash are a sub-assembly that gets bolted or bonded to the frame. I would’ve thought that the dashboard support/a-pillars would be an integral frame member.
