C7 Corvette Stingray Z06 to Debut at NAIAS

That’s right folks, if you’ve been staying up late whispering prayers to your bedside statue of Zora Arkus-Duntov just hoping that Chevy would put out a hi-po version of its stellar Stingray, you know, because 460hp isn’t really enough, your invocations have been answered. This is the first glimpse and we’ve confirmed that it is a shot of the front tire (Michelin Pilot Sport Cup), vent and front of the door.

According to Chevrolet, “It will be the most track capable Corvette ever, designed to deliver supercar levels of performance through unique powertrain, chassis and aerodynamic features.” The 2015 Corvette Z06 will be revealed during the Detroit show’s press days, January 13-14.
