I certainly would’ve never been able to identify this as a C7, but I guess it would be hard to make anything out of a car that has sustained this kind of damage. The definition for “burnt” may soon have this Corvette’s image next to it.
Even crazier, the remnants of the former black-on-black Stingray are being sold by Geico Insurance, likely to recoup some of the cost, according to an LSXTV report. Exactly what can be recouped from this is what has me puzzled as well as the circumstances that led to this Corvette’s demise.
More importantly, I sincerely hope this disaster didn’t cost anyone his or her life.
