I just love the video below because it has a completely different feel than what I expected. That element of surprise always gets me. Not that one really needs an excuse to play a clip featuring a classic the likes of a 1970 Corvette Stingray, because you really don’t.

Still, after initially thinking that the video, posted by Bulletmotorsportsinc, was going to take on more of a Sunday cruise, out for ice cream kind of feel, I quickly found out it’s more of a Monday morning, late for work kind of jolt.

Maybe I was initially thrown off by the opening music featuring Cheap Trick’s “I Want You to Want Me,” which is first used to set the stage for the Stingray’s intro. I’m thinking Bon Jovi’s “You Give Love A Bad Name” might have been more appropriate if they were going for a classic rock feel. Hey, just my opinion.

Either way, Bullet Motorsports’ intentions all become crystal clear at around that 14 second mark, when the driver revs up that 400ci small-block and gives viewers a taste of what the 50-second clip is really all about.
