In addition to death and taxes, there are other certainties in life. For instance, just like the national debt perpetually climbs like the mercury in hell, it’s inevitable with each passing day that the C7 Corvette will get faster in the aftermarket.
The M2K Motorsports C7 Corvette Stingray is the most recent example of the Corvette’s upward-trending aftermarket performance. M2K’s shop car has just run 166 mph at the Texas Mile, and there’s video to prove it.
Beginning with a Corvette Z51, M2K poured on the horsepower with CNC heads and a custom cam from Texas Speed and Performance. Rounding out the upgrades are custom headers fabricated by Kevin Kesterson of M2K Motorsports. The mods lead to a car that puts 517 horsepower to the wheels … wheels that can rapidly devour a mile of Texas Tarmac.
