True Corvette Love Never Dies

It just never grows old, huh?

Sure, some of the parts and the body might age over time, and need a little rejuvenating. But apparently the excitement a die-hard Corvette fan first feels behind the wheel of their ‘Vette never dies.

That’s exactly how Mike Yahns, the owner of this 1975 Stingray convertible, describes it in a recent story posted by The Seattle Times.

“I wanted a Corvette since I was 14-years-old, and I ordered this Chevrolet Corvette Convertible new in January 1975 … It was my daily driver until 1991, and has been pampered since, with cosmetic restoration and renewing A/C, cooling system, brakes, etc. I am having fun with a local club (Majestic Glass Corvette Club) and car shows. It is still fun taking it for a drive.”

Mike’s Stingray has more than 89,000 original miles on the odometer. And we’re betting that once it crosses that coveted 100,000 threshold, he’ll love it even more.
