Stop Traffic, Kendall Jenner Bought Herself a ’57 ‘Vette

Finally, there’s a member of the Jenner family we can all agree we care about: a 1957 Chevrolet Corvette. Even if you’re as old as this classic, you’ve probably heard of Kim Kardashian’s sister Kendall Jenner. On November 3, she turned 20 years old. According to old faithful gossip site TMZ, she gifted herself this beauty.

The 1957 model was special for many reasons, one being that it became the first American vehicle to feature an engine with a one-to-one ratio of horsepower to cubic-inch. Its top-of-the-line 283-cubic-inch V8 was rated at 283 horsepower. However, that was only if it were the model with the Rochester fuel-injection, also a first for 1957. As you can see by the lack of badging on the side cove, this is not one of those models. (Womp, womp.)

I’m color-blind (shade deficient, technically), so I thought this was light blue, but apparently it’s known as Cascade Green. Either way, this clean car with whitewalls is a gorgeous combo. That’s a good enough reason to highlight it — regardless of who bought it.
