It’s certainly no big secret here at Corvette Forum that I am a huge fan of Lingenfelter Performance Corvettes.
Wait, let me reiterate that – I absolutely love what they do with the American sports car. And nope, I’m not on the payroll. But in all honesty, it’s really hard not to have some kind of ties to Detroit and Corvettes and not feel a connection to the Michigan-based performance company.
That, coupled with all those special touches they add to the American sports car, put Lingenfelter Performance into a space all their own. And you need look no further than the company’s “Extreme Yellow” C7 to validate that claim, as detailed in a recent GM Authority report.
Developed for the Hot Rod Power Tour, the Corvette features an ACS widebody kit along with an “Extreme Yellow” hue, representing the corporate colors of Continental Tires, which provide the needed traction for the beefed-up 625-horsepower C7.
Lingenfelter Performance’s latest creation will also be featured at the 2016 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
