Is This C3 Corvette Barn Find Worth $28k?

It might not exactly be in mint condition, but with 52,435 miles on the odometer, it’s a lot better off than plenty of other classic Corvettes. Still, the question is: is this 1969 Chevrolet Corvette 427 NCRS “barn find” worth the $28,300 it recently fetched on eBay

The gold vintage ‘Vette, sold by Carolina Muscle Cars, is equipped with a new big block V8 L71 engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. Prior to CMC, the car spent 40 years in the personal collection of a guy name Richard Bonati, who took ownership of the car in 1975, according to Carscoops.

Bonati has even signed a notarized affidavit stating he owned the Corvette from 1975-2015, which certainly should ease the new owner’s worries about the condition of the C3 beyond the details listed in the eBay summary.

The affidavit also states the car is in fact a true 427/435 HP from the factory, which alone might make it worth a lot more than $28K for some.
