Adding insulation to your C6 or C7 Corvette isn’t the huge project you may have originally thought it would be. With some planning and preparation you too could improve your ability to hear your radio and passenger without much effort.

As our friend Charlie Gaston mentions in this article from our “How-Tos” section, an automotive insulation kit provides an effective and dependable way to increase the level of heat and sound absorption in your Corvette. There are some pre-fabricated kits available on the market for specific makes and models, and the Corvette has not been left out. With that said, you still should not simply assume that the kit you purchased will fit your car 100% accurately.
